Are Dog Training Collars What I Need?

What kind of dog training collars and leads will I need for my hunting dog?

For Obedience And Working In The Field Some Supplies Are Required

To work with your hunting dog in the field
you will need some specific dog training products.

You will need training leads of varying lengths, ranging from training leads for working with a puppy at home to slip leads for working with your dog in the field.

You will most likely have several  that you use in different situations.

The same is true of dog training collars.  Some people like a traditional leather, while others prefer the highly visible neon nylon collar in blaze orange, pink or some other bright color.

Nylon  has the advantage in that they stand up to all weather conditions very well and they make the dog more visible in cover.

There are also pinch and prong type available for training purposes.

Electronic dog training collars are another dog training product
you may want to add to your shopping list.

Today’s collars are able to offer different levels of intensity so you can fine tune the level of correction.  They are also far less bulky and more easily managed than former electronic  ones.

These dog training collars are usually waterproof and cover a good range.
